Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is funding provided by the Government to support the needs of disadvantaged children, those eligible to receive Free School Meals (FSM) and those children who are looked after, adopted from care, etc.
The aim is to provide opportunities for these children to be able to make maximum progress across the curriculum whilst effectively supporting any other social and emotional needs.
The Government expects schools to account for the ways in which these monies are spent and this is outlined in our Schools Pupil Premium Action Plan.
It is very important that any BGS parents/carers who feel they may be eligible to access Free school meals for their child/children come forward as these funds will only be awarded to our school based on the number of PP pupils; if you think you may be eligible, please contact our school office.
All enquiries will be confidential and treated with respect throughout, we are here to support everyone.
